Fabled Team ICE of Xbox 360 modchip fame also released a video today demonstrating their modchip.

The video shows a DVD-recordable disc with Call of Duty 2 scribbled on it, which is then inserted into an Xbox 360 console, after which the machine starts to play the game and they take it through the intro. The video is recorded using a portable camcorder including shaky hands and crappy montage.

I myself could make the same video tonight in about two hours of work, apart from the fact that I don’t have two Xbox 360’s at home. There is no proof whatsoever that the disc they insert in the drive is not relabeled, that the console they insert it in is actually connected to that television, or that the console is actually modified. I will start to consider believing them when I see an open Xbox 360, with a zoomed in shot of an authentic chip soldered onto the mainboard, with activity showing inside that machine, with a video cable connected directly to a television that has no other inputs connected, and then see them burning the disc on a laptop and boot it on the console. All in one shot. Then I might consider their modchip-making skills to be better than their video montage skills.
