Relentless in their quest to fill every gamer’s storage space to literal bursting point, today Harmonix all but announced the arrival of its next plastic peripheral - keyboards are heading to Rock Band.

Released as part of the demo for the upcoming Green Day: Rock Band, the trial game ends with Rock Band 3’s new logo and, sure enough, nestled in amongst the regular icons, fans can easily make out the latest addition to their plastic favourites.

Harmonix are yet to officially announce the new feature but, if you happen across a Billy Joel inspired teaser trailer in the next few days, try not to act too suprised.
