E3 10: John Daly’s ProStroke Golf

Remember that golf game that sounded fantastic, but looked a little bit bland - Pro Stroke Golf: World Tour? Well, it’s had a revamp in its development, now features international golfing star John Daly, and looks visually stunning in comparison to previous alpha build screens!

O-Games, have announced that John Daly himself will be in the O-Games booth (West Hall in Booth #5544) at this year’s E3 event demoing ‘John Daly’s ProStroke Golf!’ challenging players to “Grip it and Rip it” whilst showing off the innovative ProStroke control.

“E3 is the first chance for journalists and gamers alike to experience John Daly’s ProStroke Golf which is the next generation of golf videogames,” said Jim Scott, CEO of O-Games. “We wanted John to be a part of the first unveiling of the game, and to showcase the realistic control and authentic gameplay.”

John Daly’s ProStroke Golf is coming to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC this autumn. 10: John Daly’s ProStroke Golf newsvine:E3 10: John Daly’s ProStroke Golf furl:E3 10: John Daly’s ProStroke Golf reddit:E3 10: John Daly’s ProStroke Golf fark:E3 10: John Daly’s ProStroke Golf Y!:E3 10: John Daly’s ProStroke Golf gamegrep:E3 10: John Daly’s ProStroke Golf

Does this game feature mini drinking games? True Daly spirit. Take a shot for each bogey.

Haha… you never know.. I actually am looking forward to this, it’s going to be a nice change from the usual Tiger Woods PGA Tour which has gotten a bit too gimicky with all the points crap and adverts introduced to it… The in game-ads with every swing has finished me! I aint buying Tiger 11 and waiting on this.

I feel like this is going to be more of a true classic feel golf game, which I’m hoping for. PGA since 2007 have only just made the menus more & more flashy

Good. I hate Tiger Woods PGA Tour Golf and its arcade style of exploding swings and golf balls. I’m excited for this and looking forward to a realistic style simulation golf game.

Yes I am also looking forward to this - looks like one of the better reasons to buy the Sony motion controller. I think the review starts off by hitting the nail on the head with the visuals - if that can be nailed then I’m all over it. Is this like PES v FIFA for the golf genre?

I’m curious as to if the Xbox 360 version will use Kinect - I hope it does, that’ll make it a guaranteed winner!!

I haven’t bought TigerWoods 11 this year simply because I am holding out for this - and TW11 has had some bad reviews that basically if you have TW10, then no need to bother.
