E3 2010: Kinect Star Wars Game Revelaed
Microsoft have announced a new Star Wars game to be released exclusively for Kinect.
Revealing the briefest of trailers, gamers watched as a Jedi used all manners of Jedi powers before going to head-to-head with Darth Vader. Players will be able to wield lightsabres and force push enemies using nothing but the Kinect device.
“LucasArts and Microsoft Game Studios will bring the extraordinary Star Wars action to living rooms around the world,” announced Phil Spencer, head of Microsoft Game Studios.
The game is currently scheduled for a 2011 release. Rest assured, Xboxic will keep you up to date as details emerge.
Seems like Sonys move would be better geared toward something like this sense your actually holding something tangible in your hand that would mimic holding a light saber handle. I’m sure Lucas Arts already has something in the works.
Of course, you could always just *hold* something in your hand. It’ll still be picked up by the xbox.
