Cast your mind back about a year if you can get that new Xbox 360 Slim off the brain, and you might just remember a freaky teen named ‘Milo’ from an upcoming project called ‘Milo and Kate’? An extended trailer was revealed which depicted scenes of a sexual nature and some guy taking a shit in front of a cyber-being who sounded like his balls haven’t dropped!
At last year’s E3 2009 event we knew very little about the concept of ‘Milo and Kate’, other than some lame acting which portrayed that ‘Milo’ was a young guy who was to be trash talked to, mentally abused and sexually tormented. This year, we still know very little, nothing about the poor guy was made public - and who the hell is ‘Kate’?
Peter Molyneux, the creator has told CVG that the finished game is “10 times more amazing” than the demo displayed at last year’s E3 event and is currently only being viewed by celebrity folk behind closed doors.
“I promise you it is now ten times more amazing than you’d expect it to be from what you saw at [E3 2009],” said Molyneux. “Because what I showed in Milo then was just a tech demo. I think every one asked: ‘That was pretty fascinating, but what does it all mean?’
“It’s only when you see it in its entirety and play it that you realise it’s robust enough for people to play on their own.”
If anyone out there happens to find a celebrity who has had some “alone” time in the company of ‘Milo’ - please send them our way so we can at least get to understand the idea of an Xbox 360 interactive life-form.
