Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Onslaught Mode Now Available

Good news for ‘Battlefield: Bad Company 2′ fanatics as the Onslaught Mode four player co-op enabling downloadable content has gone live! For 800 Microsoft Points and a 956 KB download file, you could be mistaken for thinking it was on the disc all along?

The all new ‘Battlefield: Bad Company 2′ Onslaught Mode can be played with up to four players across four multiplayer maps: Valparaiso, Atacama Desert, Isla Inocentes, and Nelson Bay. These four maps have been redesigned with new lighting, time of day, added vehicles and other various visual effects. Each map has a dedicated gameplay focus, requiring different levels of teamwork in order to complete the objectives against an onslaught of enemy AI. Players can compete in squads and check individual progress via the dedicated Onslaught leaderboards.

This is the first time any co-operative gameplay mode has been available within the Battlefield franchise, so if you have purchased this extra content, then why not share your views in the comments section below - is it even worth the 800 MS Points?

Heh so they tout how they will have free maps compared to MW2 but then charge $10 for a Spec Ops style mode plus charging used game purchasers extra as well.
