We Americans do have a strict moral code concerning women’s breasts. Clothed, they’re delicious; naked, they’re vulgar and indecent. In fact, I would propose a movement to ban breast feeding, especially for newborn boys. We don’t know what infant boys perceive and retain in their minds. How do we know this isn’t causing a serious trauma that will affect his mental stability the rest of his life? It’s his momma’s naked brasts, for crying out loud!!!!!

It sickens me that the portrayal of violence is so accepted in your country, but nudity or
sex is not. Very sad indeed.

Sad but true, if you have seen men disemboweled, people decapitated and all the other juicy visuals that don’t just lace movies today but take up as a majority in film today, which i saw as a boy you certainly shouldn’t be uncomfortable with sex, sexuality. I’m surpised that there wasn’t more controversy over SHADOW OF ROME which such gore as i have yet to see in many games, why make such a fuss over boobs O_O. Death is bad, sex is not, sex is healthly, aids are bad, condoms are good, in many other cultures breasts are just a way to nurture the baby and supplement its growth, and heck America’s sexually repressed teens would be viable parents in other countries, third world countries but hey why make such a big deal about boobs when babies get most of the action

Well not really relevant, but it gives me an excuse to get involved in a debate I was not part of.

Americans as individuals are okay folks, no problems with them whatsoever.

Americans as a people in general are closed minded ignorant fools that have no appreciation of the rest of the world.

The reason for my conclusion is not a generalisation it is a view perpetrated by your countries actions on the world stage which unfortunatley for the good ones this is how your country is percieved.

And for the record I come from scotland and for that reason I can confirm we wear kilts everyday and eat haggis and drink whiskey every night. On the weekends I enjoy to toss a caber.

i personally like the american people, iv been to miami (wow..beaches with rows upon rows of breasts..*drool*..i wonder if the US government will ban THAT soon? those poor children..) and NY-NY , and got the best reception from the locals i could have hoped for. they were very pleasant, and treated us like long lost cousins from across the pond (finding the british accent somewhat..fascinating..but dammit its ARSE!) so i havnt a bad word to say about them. but as for that breast and those misplaced limbs, oh im distressed, unless it belongs to miss croft..in which case…SAVE PICTURE AS!

Full frontal nudity is okay in most of Europe as long as it’s not explicit. Errect genitalia are a no-no and so is anything explicitly sexual. But nudity isn’t sexual in itself, so that’s absolutely okay.

Our elementary school biology books have photos with full frontal nudity as far as I can remember — there’s nothing grotesque about that. It’s not something I’d expect from a children’s programme, but there’s no reason to get excited about it.

Besides, the really fun part of this story is that most people who know how to rip textures also know how to add or replace them, so it’s pretty pointless to remove them if they’ve been released already — if anyone wants to use them for a nude patch, it’s already to late anyway. And if the article is right, those evil nipples don’t show up anywhere in the game yet anyway.

I’m eagerly waiting for an article about some game being released with a male FFN texture embedded deeply in the source out of spite. Running With Scissors up to anything lately?

Guys, didn’t I made a post asking if Europe wouldn’t have a problem if it was male frontal nudity with a penis? I know in the US that would be quite a scandal but I want to know what Europeans think, because if you are going to tell me you would get offended by that one, then what’s the point of cirtizicing so much on the female one….
