Modern Warfare 2 Demo Released Today

It has been nine months since the game was first released, but a Single Player mission from Modern Warfare 2 has been made available as a demo today on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace.

In Cliffhanger, scale a frozen mountainside where one wrong move means certain death, engage in stealth combat amidst an intense snowstorm, shoot your way through a raging firefight, then race for survival aboard a snowmobile under heavy enemy fire.

If you are yet to experience the action packed first person shooter for yourself, then why download the demo today?

And this demo is for what, to convince the other 12 million people who didn’t buy this game to get it?

I know haha, that’s exactly what I thought!

very stupid. if anyone was not tempted to buy it with all the press, feedback and praise it received, why get it now? is this to appease anyone who has bought the new console? wtf? how about some free maps? ie shipment?

Very strange now if they would just get that title update out to fix the rock glitch, OMA tubing, put the patches back in to get rid of online public hacking, etc. that would be nice. We’ve been told the rock glitch has been fixed for over a month now still no title update. They should throw us a bone of some free maps if you purchased the other $30 worth of maps like me.

When I first saw the Demo on the Marketplace I thought it was a mistake!
