Company of Heroes Developer Dies In Senseless Accident
Kotaku (via Seattlepi) is reporting that Brian Wood, a Company of Heroes Lead Designer at Relic Entertainment was killed in a car accident this past Friday evening.
Brian and his six month pregnant wife were driving on Highway 20 just north of Oak Harbor when another car slammed head on into their vehicle.

Washington State Patrol is reporting that the driver was taking off her sweater, and had asked the passenger to hold the wheel. The passenger lost control of the vehicle, and over corrected which caused the accident. Both may be charged with vehicular homicide charges.
Brian’s wife did survive the crash, and latest reports are she is improving, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Wood’s family and friends.

I think we should ban sweaters in cars now.
Shut up.
Only a WOMAN would do something this dumb tbf.
No, I’ve seen guys do equally stupid things in cars. There’s actually one recorded incident where one guy, who was driving his car to pick his wife up, actually HIT and KILLED his wife because both of them were too busy texting each other to look up!
Having said that, the woman should’ve had the sense to pull the damn car over, put the car in Park or Neutral, and THEN remove her sweater.
