Now Microsoft is the premier sponsor of the World Cyber Games, Xbox 360 titles have been added to the list of competition titles. This year it will be PGR3 and DOA4. At PC there are following games: Counter-Strike 1.6, Warcraft III: Frozen Throne, FIFA 06, Starcraft: Brood War, Need For Speed: Most Wanted and Warhammer 40,000: Winter Assault.

For only the US some other competitions are available on Xbox and Xbox 360:

• Madden NFL 06
• Major League Baseball 2K6
• Halo 2
• Geometry Wars

Guess we will see here the #1 player BillyBlaze314 doing the best he can. If you survive the first rounds online you are invited to the Pacific, Midwest, South or Northeast regional events held in June, July and August. When you are getting a finalist position here you will be flown US National Final in September (no exact date or location yet). The winners here will form Team USA and are sent to the WCG Grand Finals in Monza, Italy (October 18-22). Here you get the chance to compete against 700 gamers from 70 countries and maybe even become the Grand Champion.
