Uno footage

I hope most of you are familiar with the cardgame Uno. A while ago there were some rumors about this game coming to Xbox Live Arcade. Now Xboxyde has some footage available recorded from a Xbox 360 debug kit, which isn’t available for normal human beings.

Uno’s rules are very simple, everybody gets a bunch of cards and the first one that gets rid of all of them wins. The fun part is that there are a lot of ways to sabotage your oponents. Wikipedia has an article about this game including all the rules if you’re interested. The question is whether this game will be fun to play with a controller or in real life with some friends.

Thanks to Ross Hayward for submitting.

Should be a right laugh with mates and headsets!

This game takes me way back to my early childhood. Probably the first card game I ever learned to play. Last time I remember playing it was waiting in line for PS2 back in October 2000! So, I really can’t wait to play again with some of my buddies over Live.

Childhood? I’m still playing it.

Well, you know what I mean. I just don’t play it as often as I used to. But now that it’s an XBLA game, I’ll probably play (at least) a few rounds every day.

I heard two guys get really ugly to each other in COD2. This would be multiplied by TEN ZILLION in Uno.

I love how the middle card pile looks so natural and unorganized like it really is when you play. It sounds dumb i know, but I think it’s a big deal.

It really looks like they did this game right, and I can’t wait to download it.

I’m psychotically organized in Uno. We always try to straighten out ours.

Uno achievements are up as well now, but without Points, at xbox360achievements.org

That site is blocked at my school (where I’m at now), so can someone tell me what the achievements are?

Or wait till you get home?

Yeah, thanks. That was what I was going to do if no one was willing to hit copy/paste to help a brother out.

Can you say custom card decks … talk about graphical options!

Uno 360: Family Guy edition :D

As Peter would say, “That would be freakin’ sweet.”

You didn’t call UNO!

The good news is we get both games :)

Forgot to mention: While Uno will be cool and I’ll get it, I’m eagerly awaiting a Texas Hold ‘Em game… no real money would be involved, of course, but achievements could be earned based on how much “money” you win or lose while playing.
