Send your face to Oblivion

Major Nelson posted a funny thing on his blog for those people that take the role playing aspect of Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion as literally as they can: an easy way to get your own ugly mug on your ingame character.

Customize your faceSimply download the demo for Singular Inversions’ FaceGen software, feed it a picture of your face or anyone else you’d like to model, and after a whole bunch of analyzing the software will then try to recreate your face using heaps of different values for inner brow width and the like…. indeed exactly the same sliders you get during Oblivion’s character creation, so you can just copy the values and see how you would’ve looked if you were born a Khajiit in Kvatch.

Makes life a whole bunch easier for celebrity imitators as well ofcourse.

I gave it a try. Interesting results. I have not plugged the values into Oblivion yet, but I’m going to give it a try tonight.

You can see my results here.

That looks damn good actually… get us a screenshot of how you look as Argonian or Khajiit :P
