E3 2006: Lost Planet demo up? [Update]
Several users on several forums report that the Lost Planet demo is up and 305.39MB big. I can’t find it at the moment and the game is scheduled for tomorrow but a screenshot with proof inside.
Update: looks like it got pulled, hopefully available again tomorrow
Sources say that it’s not on all servers, 30% of the users is able to see it on their marketplaces, 70% is not. More on this as it continues.

Nope, not in the UK.
I saw it 5 minutes ago and didnt think much of it so i decided not to download and now its gone.
A lot of people have been saying this in the Xbox Forums, guess we’ll have to wait till tomorrow as first planned.
it only seems to be available in de US. Europe is not yet able to download the demo.
Not available in the US - at least last I checked.
I got it, 2 levels, pretty fun. I’m now sure if I’ll buy it, but its at least a rental now in my eyes, where as before I wasnt that interested.
What’s it like graphically? I’ve heard nothing but good about it…

It looks really good actually, I was sort of reminded of a next-gen Hi-Def Resident Evil 4, but in the middle of a blizzard. Your character sloshes through the snow, and the snow does churn up a bit. Theres a cool flashlight effect indoors, and the explosions are great from exploding barrels. The weapons I’ve found so far are machine gun, shotgun, rocket launcher (2 rounds for each I found), a gattling gun (which you can also take off of a user-pilotable robot), and an energy gun with infinite ammo (and the ability to charge). Its sort of like starship troopers meets resident evil 4 meets umm…snow…

probaly testing if the dowload works and thay will reunlock it tomorow
yeah a guy on my friends list has it. he said it was up for a few minutes and he got the start the download. but afterwards he couldnt find it again. im in canada and i dont see either. i guess some people are lucky.

one thing thats sort of lame is no 1/2way or save points, if you die, you start over…
I found it(US) in the featured downloads. the x men gamer pictures were there too, and as soon as the downloads completed, they both disappeared from the list, and I don’t see either anywhere else.
This is one I’ve been anticipating for a while, since I heard Inafune was behind it.
i downloaded this demo a few hours ago.. it was a featured demo.. there was a big pic showing it was available, and i clicked right on that. i havent tried it yet, but definetely got it. i live in new york, usa….
The demo is up now, for the UK anyway, and Nintendo’s press conference starts now.
Are Xboxic giving us the lowdown on that one too…?
