E3 2006: Frontlines - Fuel of War for Xbox 360 screenshots
THQ released a bunch of screenshots for the upcoming Frontlines - Fuel of War. Frontlines is a vehicle-based first person shooter in an open environment in the near future. Sounds a lot like Battlefield 2 to me but that’s not so strange as part of the Kaos team, that is developing Frontlines, worked on Battlefield 2.
“Frontlines: Fuel of War will take players to the next generation of combat. The game focuses on the cutting edge in military technology that will allow players to experience the highly-charged frontlines of tomorrow, today,” said Frank DeLise, general manager, Kaos Studios. “Through intense, nail biting, non-linear single- or multi-player campaigns, players will be able to use more than 60 vehicles and advanced weaponry, from next-generation assault tanks to experimental RC drones.”
Frontlines: Fuel of War is currently being developed for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. These screenshots are from the Xbox 360 version. The screenshots don’t look impressive to me but Frontlines is set for a release in Fall 2007 so THQ has some time to work in the graphics.

Is it the desertcombat team that was working on this?
Yeah I believe so.
Doesn’t look 360 worthy to me.. The lighting is too simple, textures are too low and the polycount looks lower than in geometry wars.
But I have to say, that little remote car is a cool idea
this is a mistake surely…looks terrible
Oh good, another generic multiplayer shooter…
Is the guy in the bottom right corner of screen 1, missing the top of his head!?…
looks like shit for a 360 game
