E3 2006: Call of Duty 2 Map Packs online

Yes, the game is still alive! Activision today did what they promised, right on time for the E3. They released 2 map packs for Call Of Duty 2, the free ‘Bonus Map Pack’, contains 2 multiplayer maps, Vossenack and Wallendar, both located in Germany.
And the ‘Skirmish Map Pack’ which costs 400 MS points, contains Kalach, a Russian level, and Beaumont-Hague, located in France.

Call of Duty 2 Map Packs: Activision has some exciting new premium and free map packs to get you through the week. Battle across new multiplayer maps for this intense WWII shooter.

Bonus Map Pack: These free multiplayer maps bring combat realism to new heights. Both are for online, split-screen, and system-link play. Vossenack, Germany challenges you with limited cover and varied terrain. Wallendar, Germany is perfect for squad-based combat, including hidden paths, rubble, and high-cover areas. Its war-torn cityscape embodies World War II-style urban warfare.
Skirmish Pack (400 MS Points): Two more all-new multiplayer maps, both for online, split-screen, and system-link play. Kalach, Russia is a multi-level war zone with twisting passageways perfect for sniper attacks. Beaumont-Hague, France features open fields for rushes and clustered buildings for ambush maneuvers.

These maps are only for the English version of the game, and not authorized for download in Germany, Switzerland or Austria. The free ‘Bonus Map Pack’ is 124.78MB and the ‘Skirmish Map Pack’ is 127.03MB.

I cant believe they still didnt release the PDZ maps…
The announcement was some weeks ago and saud “soon”, and which moment would have been better than during the E3, and a free XBox Live Gold week?

Well the E3 is not ended yet

Since the CoD2 patch came out, I’ve given up on PDZ. I haven’t sold PDZ yet, but I should.

I’ll be downloading these maps ASAP.

maybe they gave more “weight” in the no.1 selling title in Xbox 360 :D

Be patient like CoD2 players did so many months with patch and maps…

Does one of these maps have Texas Hold Em as a hidden mini-game? :(

Yeah, 3rd corner on the left should do the trick

I surprised they are charging for the second two maps.
