Joystiq is looking around to get confirmation about the Xbox 360 version of upcoming gangster saga The Godfather. Electronic Arts recently confirmed the release date of the PS2, Xbox and PC versions of the game, but gave no street date for the Xbox 360 version. On the original website for the game all references to an Xbox 360 version have been removed silently. Joystiq wonders if the game is canceled or delayed, but since there is still a board for the game on the official Xbox 360 forums we are assuming for now it is only delayed. Or did Sony make them an offer they couldn’t refuse?

Update: IGN got confirmation the Xbox 360 and PSP versions were only delayed…. again.
