E3 2006: Dear Mr. Kojima, Jump in.
IGN informs us of an interesting 2 page spread in Kojima Productions‘ E3 promotional magazine named Show Maybe? (Poking fun at the title of E3’s official material, Show Daily) The magazine focuses on the developer’s projects but it something else caught the attention from the IGN Xbox 360 staff.
It’s a Microsoft Xbox 360 ad that covers two pages. On the right side of the two-page spread are the 360 logo and the slogan “Jump in.” On the left page are these words, written in font that looks like handwriting: “Dear Mr. Kojima,” forming the sentence “Dear Mr. Kojima, Jump in.”
For those unaware, the “Jump in.” slogan has been widely used by Microsoft to promote the Xbox 360. So, what does this mean? Is Kojima Productions going to develop for the Xbox 360 in near future, or is it just a joke? In the past, we have known Hideo Kojima to go on record saying that he thinks Metal Gear Solid 4 could technically be done on the Xbox 360 but he had no plans to bring it to the Microsoft platform. Hideo Kojima is famous for the Metal Gear Solid series but also did games such as Boktai and Zone of the Enders.

Its table tennis, they want to hype the games they think will sell…ie.. Grand Theft Auto, Halo 3, GOW, Forza 2, etc…
did Kojima ever get around to making ZONE OF ENDER’S 2 . would mind seeing that on the 360
..you probably mean Zone of Enders 3 (as the 2nd was released on ps2 in 2003)

There’s lots of cross-promotion between companies at E3 this year. For starters, I overheard a rumour that Bill Gates and Peter Moore both had a Wii in the toilets.
MGS4 would mean I officially don’t need a PS3. If this happens, 360 has all the games I need.
And I’m dying to get MGS4, I would even consider getting a PS3 for it JUST for that.
Yeah that crazy huh? P$3.. Bah.

I hope besides this funny joke the real PS3 killer Gears of Wars makes the hype of the 360 this E3 complete.
With a sudden and unexpected playable demo of the level we’ve seen on video from E3 placed today on marketplace.
