Lumines designer speaks on Xbox Live Arcade

Tetsuya Mizuguchi, designer of Lumines Live! which was announced for Xbox Live Arcade at Microsoft’s E3 Press Conference, speaks to IGN about Lumines, Live Anywhere and a few other things on the way.

A lot of fun and good releases are heading to Arcade on a 360 near you soon, but alongside Sonic, Contra, Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat the addition of PSP game Lumines was quite a surprise. It’s not the same game as on Sony’s portable though, as the Live! addition to the name puts clear focus on Mizuguchi’s focus on online play through Xbox Live and upcoming Vista-related gaming network Live Anywhere. Apart from a new mission mode, it will have online multiplayer, challenge mode, skin edit mode, time attack mode, puzzle mode, and additional downloadable content.

I cant wait for this to come out

I might buy, if I knew what the hell it was, looks like Tetris, just white and orange,

It’ll be funny to see what bands and videos we can get on there. I’ll definently be downloading this and Sonic, at the very least.
